Blood pressure is made up of two numbers to show systolic and diastolic. systolic is the highest level of your blood pressure and diastolic is the lowest reach of blood pressure when your heart beats.
Blood pressure is measured in millimeters of mercury (mm Hg)
Normal BP is 120/80
High BP would be anything over 140/90
High BP is also called Hypertension (HYPOTENSION)
Atherosclerosis is build-up fat, cholesterol and other substances on the artery walls.
The difference between a heart attack and a stroke is: heart attack happens when the blood flow is stopped inside the heart or near the heart, stroke is when blood is stopped near brain or inside the brain.
To maintain good blood pressure, you can eat healthy so there isn't fat building up on your artery walls and by eating less salty food.
